Sad that this is an anonymous forum, people look at the INTERNET as a place to state their opinions and hide from accountability, If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. Wouldn't this very post mean more if I signed it!

why r the chat rooms closed kids should be able 2 talk 2 kids around the united states. It helps kid make new friends they should reopen them asp!

Everyone needs to visit www.northwallnj.com This website was set up after the current committee refused to discuss the new ballfields that are being built within Camp evans. This committee refused to hold a meeting on this issue even after a petition was signed by some 200 residents. This committee is so out of touch, they need to be voted out! Visit the website and enjoy the laugh.

Dear Friends, It would be great to see a sea of Democrats and interested friends at our Candidates' Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, from 7-9PM at the Central School, Allenwood Rd., Wall, NJ. As the earlier poster mentions, the Republicans pulled out of the forum at the last minute, but we're going to go ahead, along with the Independents, in the spirit of open and responsive government. You can hear our plans for Wall and are encouraged to bring lots of questions--Hope to see you all there, and bring a neighbor or two! Thanks, Sherri

Why won't Mike Clayton or the other Republican candidates debate? In case you haven't heard, the Republicans have once again stalled and delayed in responding to the debate challenge by the independent candidates and Sherri. This is so despite the R's suggesting the dates for the debate which was scheduled to be held on Oct. 30. Obviously, they don't want Wall's residents to know their real record or answer to the residents. Typical Republican rhetoric without the desire to back up their promises. McKenna and his cronies are all bluster and have no backbone when it comes to crunch time. We can't wait to see Sherri sitting next to John on the dais. REMEMER TO GO OUT AND VOTE!!!!!!

Good luck to Sherri! I, too, was very involved in the Kerry campaign (handling the Meet UPs in the Bayshore) and I'd like to invite everyone who has an opinion to www.politicaldoodle.com, which is a bi-partisan blog on which I'm the "left". We seem to get a lot of right wing comments and could really use some more liberal comments. You can't believe their arguments about Iraq! So, please check out the blog and tell us what you think. The Wall Republicans are at it again. Campaign signs have been posted throughout Wall Township asking residents to RE-ELECT Mike Clayton for Township Committee. Mr. Clayton WAS NEVER ELECTED TO THE TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE. He was APPOINTED. Here is another example of the Wall Republicans trying to dilute the facts!!! Intellectual honesty is a must for our representatives. Please vote with your head and not based merely upon party affiliation. The MOST QUALIFIED CANDIDATE should be elected-- not the most popular. That candidate is Sherri West!!! Her integrity is unmatched. Vote for Sherri West in the Special Election on Nov. 6 to fill the seat recently vacated on the Wall Township Committee.

Whoever wrote the following email, please contact me! Shen49@earthlink.net. 28 Mar 2007 10:12:06 Has anyone recognized the conflict of interest for several planning board members on the current application of Chris Wilcox to build more oversized buildings on Route 34? Specifically, Wilcox seeks to build large office buildings on an undersized lot between Route 34 and Paynters Road. Doesn't everyone and his mother know that Wilcox contributed heavily to the election campaigns of John Tobia, Ned Thompson and Carl Braun? They should-- this has been a campaign issue for the past several years. Wilcox's relationship with these board members clearly creates a conflict of interest for them to even be involved in the application discussions. Over the last several Planning Board meetings none of them has addressed this issue or excused themselves. While there is a large group in South Wall opposed to the project, no one has addressed this conflict. This is something that should be brought to the Planning Board's attention asap. If they can't recognize their own conflicts, I guess we have to, once again, explain it to them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Per the Wall Planning Board: If anyone, other than myself, has noticed any improprieties by the Wall Township Planning Board please contact shen49@earthlink.net.

Judge Himelman made a terrible mistake in finding B. Sullivan not guilty. The decision will cost Wall's residents in terms of tax dollars and reputation. It is anticipated that Sullivan will sue the Wall Police Department, the officers involved and the Township Committee for rescinding his appointment to chief. This will likley cause Wall's taxpayers tens of thousands in defense costs. In addition, the judge's decision has denigrated the reputation of Officer Verrichia and Sgt Lancelloti who should be applauded for the bravery exhibited in making a difficult arrest under the circumstances. As important, the reputation of our police department has been irreparably damaged by Judge Himelman's decision. Is it a coincidence that the first DWI "not guilty verdict in five years" happened to be a police captain? Please join me in supporting Officer Verrichia and Sgt Lancelloti for doing the right thing and having the courage to make the difficult decision. They will need our support in the coming months which will undoubtedly be difficult. Eric D. Brophy

I agree! That's McKenna...always running his mouth!

I read Wall GOP Chairman Bob McKenna's letter to the editor today in the Asbury Park Press with interest. McKenna's letter, defending the GOP County Chairman Adam Puharic, perfectly exemplifies the Wall GOP agenda -- tell half the truth and criticize someone else in an effort to deflect attention from the real problem. As the postings following the article showed, only 13 municipal chairmen showed at the meeting at which Puharic "offered to resign". The balance didn't show up either in a show of discontent or because they had better things to do. If this is the state of the county R's, the D's have a great shot to take the open assembly seats, the freeholder seats and sheriff. Thanks for the help Mr. McKenna. Keep up the good work.
